Your Starter Site Workflow

When starting any client website:

  1. Duplicate your Starter Site

  2. Rename it for the client

  3. Update global styles (fonts + colours)

  4. Swap content

  5. Use saved sections to build pages fast

  6. Upgrade to annual → points flow to you

  7. Hand over

If you want to get fancy later:

  • Create Starter Site – Artists

  • Create Starter Site – Service Providers

  • Create Starter Site – E-commerce

“Rules of Use”

  • Always duplicate this site — never rebuild it

  • Never change the starter site styling except to improve the system

  • Do not put client content in the starter

  • Always reset Section Library to neutral tones before saving

  • Save new sections only if they’re reusable across at least 3 future clients

This keeps the starter file from becoming cluttered over time (which is the #1 killer of good starter sites).

Set global site styles

1

Set the neutrals — because you’ll replace these for every client anyway.

Migrate styles from templates to your site

2

Open your purchased template in a separate window

You’ll be copying styles, not structure.

Copy individual blocks and sections

3

Now go into your purchased template and:

Save every useful section to your own Library
